Your safe zone is a small coloured region that you start with.
To travel in 90-degree rotations across the grid, use the WASD or Arrow keys.
Every action needs to be carefully planned because you cannot instantly turn 180 degrees.
To make a coloured trail, leave your region. The enclosed space is yours after you close the loop and safely return to your base. Longer routes expose you more, but they also allow you to seize more land.
You are shielded from collisions within your region. You are immediately eliminated, though, if an opponent comes into contact with your active trail while you are outside your base. In order to overcome competitors, you can also cross their exposed pathways and make them vanish along with their land.
